HELLO,

I’M OLIVIA!

I’m a fashion merchandising student at Virginia Commonwealth University driven by curiosity, creativity, and purpose. My work explores the space where strategy meets storytelling and curating fashion experiences that feel intentional, expressive, and sustainable.

I’m passionate about reimagining what already exists through upcycling, mindful merchandising, and design that connects people to meaning, not just material. It’s important to me that I approach every project as both a creative and a strategist, shaping fashion that inspires everyone.

CAREER CENTRIC CONTENT

My career path is centered on buying and merchandising within the fashion industry, where I can merge analytical thinking with my creative vision. I’m drawn to roles that let me curate collections, forecast trends, and build brand stories.

Long-term, I aspire to work on a global scale, leading merchandising strategy that values sustainability, individuality, and innovation.

PERSONAL CONTENT

I’m from Powhatan County, a small town right outside Richmond, Virginia. Being from a rural town with little to no fashion resources, I had to become resourceful and creative. This shaped the way I see fashion, as something both expressive and intentional. Moving to Richmond introduced me to a community fueled by art, culture, and individuality, and it’s where I learned to merge creativity with strategy.

A huge element of my childhood is picking and eating figs. I grew up surrounded by fig trees so I’m always inspired by their textures and colors. I’m grateful to say that my love for fashion has always been greatly supported by my friends and family.
